Do I need to replace my oxygen sensors when I install this?

Not necessarily. If your original downstream O2 sensor is functioning, you can reuse it. If the check engine light was triggered by a bad sensor before the converter failed, replace the sensor. The converter itself doesn't require new sensors to operate.

Does this come with hardware to bolt it on?

Gaskets are included for the manifold flange and rear pipe connection. You'll need the factory exhaust bolts (typically already on your vehicle) and a gasket scraper to remove old material. If bolts are missing or damaged, pick up a hardware kit from your parts store.

Will this work if my original converter is gutted or damaged?

Yes. This is a complete replacement unit designed to bolt straight into the factory location. If your old converter is cracked, plugged, or hollowed out, this unit restores full catalytic function and exhaust flow. Install it the same way you'd remove the old one.
