Does this require bumper removal to install?

You'll need to remove the front bumper cover to access the mounting points behind it. Once removed, the reinforcement bar bolts directly to the frame at factory locations. Plan on a few hours if you're doing it yourself.

Will the towing hook interfere with the bumper cover?

There's a cutout in aftermarket bumper covers designed for towing setups, but factory covers won't accommodate the hook. If you're keeping the OEM bumper, you'll need to cut or modify it manually, or source an aftermarket cover with a tow-through opening.

Can I use this for actual towing, or is it just for appearance?
