Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need clamps to install this hose?
Clamps are not included with this hose. You'll want worm-gear clamps (stainless or zinc-plated) sized for 3/16" ID line. Two clamps minimum—one at the fuel pump or tank fitting, one at the carburetor inlet.
Can I use this on a fuel-injected engine?
Yes. NBR hose handles EFI system pressures. If your fuel pump runs above 60 psi, confirm your pump's rated pressure and match it against your hose supplier specs before install.
What if 5 feet is more than I need?
Cut the hose to length with a sharp utility knife or hose cutter. After cutting, inspect the end for frayed rubber and trim clean. Make sure the cut end seats fully on the barbed fitting before clamping.
