Fabtech FTS62008 Rear Traction Bar System – 2017–22 F-250/F-350 4WD Short Bed

The Fabtech FTS62008 floating rear traction bar system helps control rear axle wrap while allowing the rear suspension to travel. Sold as one complete system with two 67-inch traction bars.

Vehicle application

For 2017–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD, extended cab or crew cab, short bed, single rear wheel trucks only. Fits the 12-bolt differential cover rear axle only and requires a compatible 6-inch or 8-inch suspension system. Requires compatible Fabtech shock absorbers as specified in the instructions. Verify the cab, bed, axle and complete suspension configuration before ordering.

Package contents

Includes one driver-side and one passenger-side traction bar, four U-bolts, driver/passenger frame and axle brackets, two upper clamps, two shackles, six rod ends, bushing halves, sleeves, spacers, nut tabs and installation hardware. Factory lower U-bolt plates are reused. Shock absorbers are not included.

Installation and limitations

Professional installation is required. Installation includes drilling 1/2-inch frame mounting holes and 1-1/2-inch frame access holes. Follow the exact FTS62008 instructions and protect nearby wiring and hoses. This system may not eliminate carrier-bearing vibration. It is not a complete suspension lift.
