Fabtech FTS71002 is a heavy-duty front tie rod kit with extra-large-diameter replacement assemblies. Sold as one complete kit containing two inner/outer tie rod assemblies, one for each side.

Vehicle applications

  • 2001–2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD, 2WD or 4WD.
  • 2001–2010 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD, 2WD or 4WD.
  • 2003–2005 Hummer H2, 4WD.

Compatibility

For the compatible Fabtech suspension configuration using the factory centerlink. Will not work with dual steering stabilizers. For stock-height vehicles or vehicles with leveling keys, Fabtech requires the FTS98025 sway bar end link kit, sold separately. Confirm the installed suspension and steering arrangement before ordering.

Package and installation

The FT71002i parts list includes two tie rod assemblies, instructions and thread-locking compound. Each assembly combines an inner and an outer tie rod end. Follow the Fabtech instructions for professional installation, initial length adjustment, lubrication, steering and ABS-line clearance checks, final alignment and fastener rechecks.
