Verified application
Replacement for a cylinder in an installed Fabtech FTS21044BK dual steering stabilizer system using the required Fabtech crossmember setup. Confirm the installed system part number and mounting hardware before ordering. This listing does not establish direct replacement fitment for a factory steering damper.
Features
- Twin-tube hydraulic construction with high-flow nine-stage valving.
- 9/16-inch hardened chrome piston rod, 1-3/8-inch piston and closed-cell foam insert.
- Eye mounting ends.
Package and installation
One replacement cylinder. The complete matched dual system uses two FT8025 cylinders; brackets, a second cylinder and the complete dual steering stabilizer system are separate.
Follow FT21044i for the installed system. Use the specified mounting sleeves, bracket hardware and bolt orientation to avoid coilover interference. Check full steering travel for bottoming and clearance, and verify the rack position and front toe alignment. Retorque the system after 50 miles, again after 200 miles, and periodically thereafter.
