Fabtech FTS8046 opposing-style dual Stealth steering stabilizer system. One kit contains two Stealth stabilizer cylinders and the matched mounting components.
Verified application
2017 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty, 4WD, with a complete 6-inch or 8-inch Fabtech suspension system. Does not fit stock-height vehicles. Retain the factory steering stabilizer on this 2017 application. Confirm the installed Fabtech lift before ordering.
Package
The FTS8046 package lists two FTS6604 Stealth stabilizers, one FT30730 axle bracket, two FT30149 tie-rod brackets, one FT739U axle U-bolt and the FT30312 hardware subassembly. The subassembly includes four FT740U tie-rod U-bolts and two FT140357 shock stud kits. This is the Stealth version.
Installation
Follow FT8023i for the FTS8046 option. Fit the specified axle and tie-rod brackets, stem bushings and hardware. The procedure includes trimming excess tie-rod U-bolt length with a cut-off wheel. Cycle steering fully in both directions to check clearance and prevent cylinder bottoming. Retorque after 50 miles, again after 200 miles, and periodically thereafter.
