Fabtech FTS81169 Dirt Logic 2.25 non-reservoir rear replacement shock.

Verified application

Replacement for the original FTS81169 rear shock in an installed Fabtech K1200DL 4-inch system on a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or GMC Sierra 2500HD with 4WD and the 6.6L V8 diesel engine. Standard cab models are excluded. The matched system specifies FTS21294, FTS21295 and FTS21296 component boxes, two FTS81168 front non-reservoir shocks and two FTS81169 rear non-reservoir shocks.

Confirm the installed complete system and original rear shock number before ordering. Compatible aftermarket wheels and tires are required; OEM wheels and tires cannot be used. The complete 2500HD system uses its specified 2-inch rear blocks, U-bolts, rear bump-stop brackets and brake-line bracket. The 4-inch system designation does not mean 4 inches of rear lift.

Package

One new FTS81169 shock, sold individually, with its specified FT86108 hardware and bushing kit 108. The matched system uses two individual rear shocks; the second shock and complete suspension system are separate.

Professional installation is recommended. Follow the instructions for the exact shock and installed complete system. Verify mounting hardware, bushings and clearance through full suspension travel. Do not remove the coil or change its factory preload. Keep the shock clean with a pH-balanced cleaner and arrange service when needed. Recheck fasteners after 50 miles and periodically thereafter.
