Fabtech K2284DL 6-Inch 4-Link Lift - 2017 F450/F550 XL 4WD 6.7L V8 - Dirt Logic 2.25

Fabtech K2284DL is a 6-inch 4-Link suspension system for a 2017 Ford F450 Super Duty XL or F550 Super Duty XL with 4WD and the 6.7L V8 engine. It uses the F450/F550-specific steering and suspension components. Vehicles with the Ford Fat Boy steering option are excluded; have a Ford dealer verify the steering box using the VIN before ordering.

One FTS22251 coil box supplies two front lift coils. One FTS22221 component box supplies two upper links, two lower links and two frame pockets. One FTS22277 component box supplies the 2017-specific pitman arm, track-bar relocation bracket, front bump-stop extensions, sway-bar brackets, brake-line and ABS relocation components, steering-stabilizer brackets and listed hardware.

One FTS22274 rear box includes two FTBK65 lift blocks, four FT759U U-bolts, two FT30784 rear sway-bar end links, two FT30750 rear bump-stop extensions, FTS419 driveshaft shim kit and listed hardware. The factory rear blocks are removed and replaced with the supplied blocks.

Includes two FTS810382 front and two FTS810052 rear Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks: four shock assemblies in total. These are non-reservoir Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks.

Installation and clearance

Installation requires frame access-hole drilling and drilling the front and rear bump-stop mounting plates, plus repositioning the brake-line and ABS brackets and steering-stabilizer components. The reviewed tire/wheel combination is 37/13.50R20 on 20x9 wheels with 5-inch backspacing and minor trimming. Some models may not sit level after installation. Professional installation, alignment, headlight adjustment and full steering, brake-hose, ABS-wire, suspension and tire-clearance checks are required.
