Fabtech K2291DL is a 4-inch Radius Arm suspension system for a 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty XL 4WD with the 6.2L V8 flex-fuel engine. This gas-engine system excludes diesel models and dual rear wheel vehicles.
Package contents
One FTS22249 gas coil box includes two FT30731 front lift coils. One FTS22215 component box includes the driver and passenger radius arms, pitman arm, track-bar relocation bracket, front bump-stop extensions, sway-bar brackets, brake-line and ABS relocation components, steering-stabilizer brackets, alignment cams and listed hardware. One FTS22214 rear box includes two FTBK41 4-inch blocks, four FT728U U-bolts and hardware. The factory rear blocks are removed and replaced with the supplied blocks.
Includes two FTS800962 front remote-reservoir Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks and two FTS810052 non-reservoir Dirt Logic 2.25 rear shocks: four shock assemblies in total.
Installation and clearance
Installation requires frame access-hole drilling and drilling the front bump-stop mounting cups and holes, plus brake-line, ABS and steering-stabilizer bracket relocation. The reviewed tire/wheel combination is 35/12.50R20 on 20x9 wheels with 5-inch backspacing; fenderwell trimming is required. Oversized tires may require a separate dual steering stabilizer; Fabtech lists FTS22303 Dirt Logic or FTS22304 Dirt Logic with reservoirs as applicable options.
The primary manufacturer photo shows the current redesigned radius arms. The earlier photo is retained for illustration; its radius-arm design differs from the current kit.
Professional installation, alignment, headlight adjustment and full steering, brake-hose, ABS-wire, suspension and tire-clearance checks are required. Recheck fasteners after 50 miles and periodically thereafter. Confirm vehicle configuration before ordering and follow the complete manufacturer instructions.
