Factor 55 00016 is a 1.0-inch-thick aluminum hawse fairlead for synthetic winch rope only. It has a gunmetal gray MIL-A-8625F Type III hard-anodized finish.
Compatibility
- Standard 10-inch bolt mounting spacing; overall face dimensions 12.35 by 3.25 inches. Confirm fit against the winch mounting plate and bumper.
- The large-radius opening guides synthetic rope and allows compatible tube thimbles up to 1/2 inch to pass through.
- Not for steel winch cable.
Package and installation
One fairlead. Mounting hardware, winch and rope are not included. Select mounting bolts with the appropriate strength and length for the bumper, fairlead and winch; bolt ends must not contact the winch body.
Confirm the rope cannot touch sharp edges in the steel mounting plate or bumper opening. Some installations require enlarging that opening; sand and deburr any ground edges. Vehicle year, make and model alone do not establish compatibility.
