Factor 55 00023 is the XTV hawse fairlead with 6-inch mounting bolt spacing for synthetic winch rope only. It is machined from 1-inch-thick aluminum and has a gunmetal gray MIL-A-8625F Type III hard-anodized finish.
Compatibility
Overall face dimensions are 7.4 by 1.95 inches. Confirm the 6-inch bolt pattern, bumper opening and winch clearances before ordering. This is the 6-inch version; the 4.875-inch pattern is a separate product. Do not use with steel winch cable.
Package and installation
One fairlead. Mounting hardware, winch and rope are not included. Select bolts of the correct strength and length for the mounting plate, fairlead and winch; bolt ends must not contact the winch body.
Confirm the synthetic rope cannot contact sharp edges in the mounting plate or bumper opening. Some installations require enlarging the opening; sand and deburr any ground edges. Vehicle year, make and model alone do not establish compatibility.
