Factor 55 Rope Retention Pulley XTV 00261 is a friction pulley for redirecting a winch line or a correctly configured recovery rig. Rubber retention fingers help keep the winch rope in its groove during momentary slack.

Compatibility and rating

  • Synthetic rope only, 3/16 to 1/4 inch in diameter. Do not use steel cable.
  • Use an appropriately rated non-coated soft shackle. Confirm rope, shackle and anchor compatibility before use.
  • Manufacturer stated working load limit: 12,000 lb. Rigging loads depend on configuration; observe the limits of the pulley and every connected component.
  • Machined 6000-series aluminum with a hard-anodized surface and Teflon-treated friction surface.
  • Friction reduces efficiency; the manufacturer describes typical friction losses of 10–20% depending on load. Do not assume an ideal doubling of pulling force.
