Factor 55 00375-05 Flat Splicer Folding Synthetic Rope Shackle Mount — Silver

One Silver Factor 55 Flat Splicer folding shackle mount with integrated EPDM rubber pads. It is spliced onto a compatible synthetic winch rope and can fold against a suitable fairlead for compact stowage. Supplied color: Silver.

• For synthetic winch rope only, up to 1/2 inch in diameter. Do not use steel cable.
• Requires synthetic rope splicing knowledge. Factor 55 recommends a locking Brummel or long bury splice; follow the rope manufacturer's construction, splice and installation requirements.
• The completed assembly's working load limit depends on the rope, its diameter, the splice and rigging. Observe the mount's engraved 8T load markings and every connected component's lower limit.
• Connects to the pin or bow end of common 3/4-inch screw-pin shackles, and the pin ends of 7/8-inch and 1-inch screw-pin shackles. Confirm actual connector dimensions and ratings.
• Machined aluminum rope passage helps shield the captured rope from impact, abrasion and UV exposure when stowed with the groove toward the winch.
• Approximately 1.75 inches thick when folded. Verify actual fairlead and vehicle clearance; keep fingers clear of folding pinch points.
• Keep forces in line and do not side load the shackle. Follow the engraved warnings and inspect the rope, splice and mount before use.
