One red Factor 55 Fast Fid kit for repairing or splicing compatible synthetic winch rope. The compact two-piece design includes the fid body, an integral wire-grip component and a Cordura carrying pouch with belt loop.

  • Manufacturer-listed compatibility: synthetic winch rope up to 5/8 inch in diameter. Confirm the rope's construction and the tool's fit before use.
  • Machined aluminum body with a red anodized finish.
  • Wire grip holds the rope end during the splicing process.
  • Laser-engraved rope bury information and measuring scale.
  • Includes the carrying pouch shown; winch rope and recovery equipment are separate.

Follow the rope manufacturer's splice, bury-length, inspection and retirement requirements. Suitability and the finished splice strength depend on the rope and the completed work; using this tool does not certify a repaired rope's load rating. No specific vehicle year or trim fitment is verified.
