This tire carrier attaches to the Rear Platform, moving the spare tire off the underbody and onto the back of the van. It fits larger tires than the stock mount and frees up ground clearance. The carrier swings open on a bearing pivot for full access to the rear storage door and locks shut with a cam latch.
