Fabtech FTS22252 Dirt Logic 2.5 Front Coilover Pair – 2017–2020 Ford F-150 4WD, K2245DL 2-inch Lift

Fabtech FTS22252 is a pair of front Dirt Logic 2.5 non-reservoir coilovers for the compatible Fabtech K2245DL 2-inch upper-control-arm suspension system. Each coilover has a 2.5-inch OD stainless steel body, 2.25-inch billet aluminum piston, 7/8-inch NitroSteel black piston rod and cold-wound coil spring.

Vehicle applications

2017–2020 Ford F-150 Limited, Platinum, XL, XLT, King Ranch or Lariat 4WD with the complete, compatible Fabtech K2245DL 2-inch suspension system. For the listed trims and matched system only; not for 2WD, stock-height suspension or an unspecified lift system.

Package

One FTS22252 package contains two front non-reservoir coilovers and the FT86045 hardware and bushing kit. The photo shows the coilover pair with upper mounting plates and lower bar-pin mounts. The FTS22182 upper control arms and two rear FTS811332 shocks required for the complete K2245DL system are separate.

Wheels and installation

Factory wheels cannot be used with the matched upper control arms. For the matched system, Fabtech lists 285/55R20 tires on 20×9 wheels with 5-inch backspacing and minor trimming; confirm wheel, tire and control-arm clearance before installation. Professional installation and alignment are required. Follow the Fabtech FT825502 instructions for FTS22252 and the complete K2245DL system instructions. Keep the shocks clean using a pH-balanced cleaner. Do not remove the factory-preloaded coil spring or nitrogen tamper cap. Relieve the vehicle weight from the coilovers before any permitted adjustment. Check brake hoses, ABS wires and full steering/suspension clearance, and recheck nuts, bolts and wheel fasteners after 50 miles and periodically thereafter.
