Fabtech FTS22334 provides a pair of offset intrusion beams for additional tire clearance in the front wheel wells. The replacement beams use 1/4-inch-thick steel in a welded box design.
Verified applications
2021–2022 Ford F150 4WD: Limited, Platinum, XL, XLT, King Ranch and Lariat, with a compatible complete 4-inch Fabtech suspension system and Fabtech shocks. The manufacturer designed this combination for clearance with 35-inch tires; verify the complete system and wheel requirements. Does not fit the Tremor Off-Road Package, F150 Lightning or vehicles equipped with BlueCruise.
Package
Quantity 1 purchases one two-beam kit: two FT30999 intrusion beams and the FT30986 hardware subassembly. The FT30987 fastener kit contains four 1/2-13 × 4-1/2-inch bolts, eight washers, four nuts and thread-locking compound. Suspension components, wheels and tires shown in the installed photo are sold separately; that photo illustrates beam placement.
Installation
Professional installation requires cutting and drilling. The manufacturer instructions require cutting the factory beam sections and welded nuts, smoothing the mounting area and drilling the frame mounting holes to 1/2 inch before installing the replacement beams. Some oversized tires may also require bumper or valance trimming. Check full steering clearance and recheck fastener torque after 50 miles and periodically thereafter.
