Fabtech FTS62003BK is a complete floating rear traction bar system for 1999–2010 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks with a compatible Fabtech 5.5-inch or 8-inch suspension configuration. The shackle design follows the arc of rear leaf-spring travel to resist axle wrap while allowing suspension movement.
Package
One system includes two black traction bars, one for each side, frame and axle mounting brackets, shackles, six rod ends, bushings, sleeves and installation hardware. This listing is for the complete system.
Fitment and installation requirements
- Requires rear lift blocks at least 3 inches tall for clearance.
- Does not work with long-travel rear leaf springs.
- Compatible Fabtech rear leaf springs or AMP steps require the separately sold FTS92025 bracket kit.
- Installation requires drilling 1/2-inch frame holes and must be performed by a professional mechanic. Welding is not required; do not weld the components.
- May not eliminate carrier-bearing vibration on every vehicle.
