Verified application

Replacement for the original FTS811262 front shock in an installed Fabtech K1121DL or K1123DL 4-inch system on a 2011-2012 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD or 3500HD 4WD with the 6.0L V8 gasoline or 6.6L V8 diesel engine. Extended cab and crew cab models only. K1121DL is the 2500HD system and K1123DL is the 3500HD system.

The matched system specifies FTS21230 and FTS21231 component boxes, FTS21232 for 2500HD or FTS21245 for 3500HD, two FTS811262 front shocks and two FTS810942 rear shocks. Compatible aftermarket wheels of at least 18 inches are required. GMC AT4 and Chevrolet Trail Boss models are excluded. Retain the system-specific upper shock plates and correct Dirt Logic hardware. The FT21230 instructions describe upper factory shock-mount clearance work; their FT120 lower-washer note applies to Performance and Stealth shocks.

Confirm the installed complete system and original shock part number before ordering. This listing supplies a replacement shock for that installed configuration.

One new shock, sold individually. The matched system specifies two individual shocks for this axle. The second shock, front coilovers and complete suspension system are separate.

Upper stem and lower eye mounting. Use the correct Dirt Logic mounting hardware and bushings for the installed system.

Professional installation is recommended. Follow the instructions for the exact shock and complete installed Fabtech system. Verify mounting hardware and clearance through full suspension travel. Recheck fasteners after 50 miles and periodically thereafter.
