Fabtech K2181 4-Inch Budget Lift - 2005-2007 F250 4WD 6.0L Diesel - Performance Shocks

Fabtech K2181 is a 4-inch Budget suspension lift for a 2005-2007 Ford F250 Super Duty 4WD with the 6.0L diesel engine in XL, XLT, King Ranch or Lariat trim, without the factory rear overload leaf and without a factory rear sway bar.

Package contents

• One FTS22153 component box with two FT30542BK four-inch front coil spacers, one FT30497BK track-bar drop bracket and one FT30133 steering-stabilizer drop bracket, two FT30467BK radius-arm drop brackets, and driver/passenger FT30468BK and FT30469BK bump-stop drop brackets.
• Rear lift components: two FTBK3 three-inch blocks, four FT742U U-bolts and one FTS419 driveshaft shim kit.
• One FT30472 hardware kit and one FT30499 hardware subassembly with two FT30498 brake-line drop brackets, spacer washers, sleeves and U-bolt hardware.
• Two FTS7236 front Performance shocks and two FTS7266 rear Performance shocks. Four shock assemblies are included in total.
• The factory front coil springs, radius arms, pitman arm and rear leaf springs are retained. Retain the factory rear blocks on top of the supplied three-inch blocks. The FTS419 package contains driveshaft shims.

Application and installation

Use only on the listed 2005-2007 F250 4WD 6.0L diesel XL, XLT, King Ranch or Lariat configuration without the factory rear overload leaf and without a factory rear sway bar. Do not combine this system with another lift device or substitute other suspension components.

Manufacturer wheel guidance requires trimming: 35/12.50R18 tires on 18x9.5 wheels with 4.75-inch backspacing, or 35/12.50R20 tires on 20x9 wheels with 5-inch backspacing. Check clearance on the actual vehicle.

Professional installation and alignment are required. Installation involves handling loaded coil springs, drilling the frame for bump-stop mounts, trimming bump-stop cup tabs, possible front shock-tab trimming, and checking brake/ABS lines, 4WD vacuum lines and tire clearances. Inner fender wells, the bumper or valance may require trimming. Follow the manufacturer instructions for the exact application, clearances, re-torque and maintenance requirements.
