Fabtech K2279DL Front Coilover Conversion Pair - Existing 8-Inch Lift - 2011-2012 F250 4WD 6.7L V8

Fabtech K2279DL is a front Dirt Logic 4.0 remote-reservoir coilover conversion pair for a 2011-2012 Ford F250 Super Duty 4WD with the 6.7L V8 engine, already equipped with a compatible Fabtech 8-inch Radius Arm or 4-Link lift system. This conversion replaces the front coil springs and shocks on the compatible lifted suspension. It is not a complete lift system and does not work with Leveling or Basic systems.

Package contents

Includes one FTS835236D driver-side and one FTS835236P passenger-side front coilover package: two Dirt Logic 4.0 remote-reservoir front coilover shock assemblies in total, with integrated coil springs. The corresponding FT30726/FT30727 upper mounts, FT30763/FT30764 lower mounts, drill guides, bump-stop extensions, reservoir clamps and installation hardware are included. The driver-side ABS module uses two supplied FT30774 spacers. Rear shocks and rear lift components are not included.

Installation requirements

The factory upper coil buckets are retained. Installation requires removing the original front coils, shocks and lower spring perches, cutting and sanding the upper spring-perch locator tubes, and drilling three holes in each upper bucket for the supplied mounts. The bump-stop mounting hole is drilled, and some factory bump-stop plates require sanding for coilover clearance. Brake-line brackets and the driver-side ABS module are repositioned as directed by the instructions. Reservoir hoses must have proper clearance throughout suspension travel.

Professional installation, alignment, headlight adjustment and full steering, brake-hose, ABS-wire, reservoir-hose and tire-clearance checks are required. Confirm the existing lift and vehicle configuration with Fabtech before ordering, and follow the complete kit-specific manufacturer instructions.
