Fabtech K2383 is a 3-inch Uniball upper-control-arm lift for a 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands four-door 4WD gas model originally equipped with factory Bilstein shocks. Excludes vehicles equipped with HOSS 3.0.
Package contents
One system includes one FTS22336 upper-control-arm component box and one FTS22342 shock-spacer component box.
The spacer box contains two FT30992 front top spacers, two FT31000 rear top spacers, two FT31010 front preload spacers, one FT30991 rear track-bar relocation bracket, brake-line relocation hardware and fasteners.
The factory front and rear coilover shocks and coil springs are retained. No replacement shock absorbers or coil springs are included. The track-bar bracket relocates the factory bar; a replacement track bar is not included.
The upper-control-arm box contains one FT30972 driver arm and one FT30973 passenger arm with 1-inch uniball bearings, FT94535 adapter pins, misalignment spacers, bushings, sleeves and hardware. The factory steering knuckles are retained. The uniball connections replace the factory upper ball-joint connections; replacement ball joints are not included.
Installation
Installation requires professional coil-spring compression and disassembly to fit the preload spacers, trimming the front upper-mount studs, and drilling two holes in the factory rear track-bar mount. Follow the specific factory Bilstein shock procedure.
Professional installation, alignment, headlight adjustment and full steering, brake-hose, ABS-wire, suspension and tire-clearance checks are required. Oversized tires may require bumper or valance trimming. Recheck fasteners after 50 miles and periodically thereafter. Follow the complete manufacturer instructions.
