Fabtech K4151DL is a 3-inch front coilover conversion for use with a compatible Fabtech suspension system. Sold as one front conversion package; this is not a complete front-and-rear suspension lift kit.
Applications
- 2018-2020 Jeep Wrangler JL, four-door, 4WD, 3.6L V6 gasoline configuration.
- Not approved for 2021 applications. Excludes later model years, 2.0L, diesel, 4xe, Rubicon 392, two-door, Wrangler JK and Gladiator JT.
- For use with Fabtech suspension only. Confirm the complete vehicle suspension configuration before installation.
Package contents
- One FTS24227 coilover-mount package: driver/passenger upper mounts FT50681/FT50682, lower mounts FT50714/FT50715, two support tubes FT50712/FT50713, spacers, nut tabs and mounting hardware.
- One FTS24236 package with two 3-inch JL Dirt Logic 2.5 reservoir coilovers: driver FT820582 and passenger FT820592.
- Coilover package hardware includes eight FT83090 misalignment spacers and four FT89016 reservoir hose clamps.
Installation and fitment notes
- Professional installation requires removing the factory shock towers, trimming the coil buckets and adjacent brackets, drilling the frame and routing brake lines and wiring for clearance. The factory coil-spring buckets are retained with the modifications specified in the FTS24227 instructions.
- Rear suspension parts, rear shocks, long-arm components and a complete lift system are not included.
- Oversize tires and wheels require clearance checks and may require fender, bumper or valance trimming. Review the manufacturer tire/wheel guidance for the selected combination.
- A professional alignment, brake/ABS-hose clearance checks through steering and suspension travel, and manufacturer post-installation fastener checks are required.
The wheelwell photo shows an installed conversion with an optional hydraulic bump-stop upgrade. The hydraulic bump-stop kit, wheels, tires and other vehicle accessories are not included.
